I don't know about the Glarus, but I hike in Keen Targhee II's and I love them. I really like Keen's because I have blister prone feet so the different shaped toe box helps along with the Injinji socks, and I have yet to get a blister.

I hiked in some horrendous shoes back in 2001. The Keen's I have are light enough weight but have enough support.

    Hope that helps!

I have never tried these. Do they really work? aren't too bulky? is it hard to get use to them?
    Thanks

I love these boots , I have several pairs, one to hike, one for the barn and one for good. They are comfortable.

I've used regular poly sock liners and the injinjin I use are about the same thickness. The toe sock design keep my "Ring Toe", or whatever you call the fourth toe from the left, from rolling under my middle toe. That keeps those blisters at bay. They do take a few trips to get used to but the pay off is worth it.
