Damascus Parking

Can anyone tell me of any areas to park overnight in Damascus? I don't mind paying/donating a few dollars, just don't want to come back to a towed car.

there is a free public parking lot next to the Old Mill restaurant. it's well lit and patrolled by police or you may park at my house for free

Thanks for the offer Lone Wolf. I still haven't decided which way I'm going to head. Just wanting to take advantage of the nice weekend coming up. I'd thought about heading towards backbone and trying to find a few side trails to explore. My Delorme Topo isn't the best for showing minor trails. Any suggestions?

Nice weekend? It's supposed to rain this weekend. Don't get me wrong, I plan to hike out and camp up on the back side of Watauga Lake this weekend with my son but the weather is going to be iffy. Let's hope it doesn't rain and is a nice weekend!
