    Default Knock Off Crocs

So I bought a pair of these to use as camp shoes last year and they're awesome! The only problem was CVS only had 1 pair left so I had to get a pair that were a little too small. These were fine because I was only using them every once in a while but would DEF not work using them all the time like on my upcoming thru-hike. Does anyone know of another good place to get them? I can only seem to find the fleece lined version this time of year

I have a couple pairs & love them. I plan on bringing them for my thru. I haven't seen them anywhere other then CVS, which I have about 4 within 2 miles of me. Do you have another location you could check?

I'm sure that there are more around here I just think this time of year they only have the fleece lined ones. Have you seen the regular ones in a CVS near you this this time of year?

Not only way cheaper, but also way lighter. This is one of the rare circumstances that poor quality is actually a good thing. But a cheap pair of knock-off Crocs for $5 every 3 years, and you get light, comfortable camp shoes and serviceable water shoes.

Do you have a Dollar General store close by? They generally have Croc knock-offs for $8-9. Crocs are usually
treated as a "summer shoe" for non-hikers. Stores should start increasing their inventory this spring. Ask stores if they plan on getting any in stock. Could just get a cheapo shower shoe to get you by until you find what you are looking for as you go up the trail--and you will.

Yes, Dollar General has them too. I bought a pair on clearance for 2 dollars just to wear to let the dog out that was 4 yrs ago. They are great and light!

I swear I've seen these at our local Wal-mart in the past. As was said earlier, check these types of cheap discount stores once they get their full spring/summer stock.

Actually I like the knock offs better than the Crocs...they're lighter.

I think you can take the liner out of them. They just clip on with those little black buttons on the side.

Walmart here in FL has them for $10. 10 oz--I weighed them on the produce scales.
