    Default Parking VA 635

Looking to do a section hike from near Bland, VA to approx. 19 miles past Pearsburg, VA... There is a parking area on VA 635 and I was wondering about safety issues leaving a vehicle there for five or six days???? Looking on Google Map there are a few homes nearby and was wondering if anyone has any advice about just asking those individuals if I could leave my vehicle on their property... would compensate.

parking in the area in and around pearisburg is relatively safe..options would be the captains(close to where the AT crosses 635)or i shuttle you out to 635 and you hike back into town. if there's anything i could help you with, feel free to call anytime---don, 540-921-7433(RIDE)

I parked there for a 2 day, 40 mile section a few weeks ago. No problems at the northernmost lot.

I used Don for the shuttle from Pearisburg to VA42 behind my car.

the captain is a trail angel that lives close to the AT/635...if your concern is about the safety of your vehicle your welcome to park at my home (in pearisburg)...when we talk we discuss what options are available don
