He's (assuming a "HE") is already downsizing by selling one of the set. Obviously, "he" isn't married, as he has one to sell.

Since "he" is in MA, what kind of taxes are added onto that sale?

"Why pay your own way if others are willing to do it for you?"-Seems to be a common attitude these days.

I personally am not comfortable taking money from others. There is a satisfaction to knowing you did things on your own for me at least, and I try to instill that in my children, but "to each his own."

Am I the only one that noticed he estimates his food cost to be $600?
Seems a tad low for a thru
He will need to sell at least 2 balls to fund that.

Sure, i live in Oklahoma. Need directions?

Honestly, I'm not big on charity, but i have no problem helping a person in need, and wanting to do a thru-hike doesn't qualify as in need to me. There is a big difference in hustling to feed your family and soliciting money to take a vacation. Some people are just raised different i guess.

I know, and i may have been to serious for the thread. I should have thrown some emoticons in there.

Just find it weird that people will give a stranger money to take a vacation.
