I will be out there on the 7th, and hitting the trail on the 8th. Time always seems to creep in the moment, and then you're only days away trying to tie up loose ends in a hurry, but next thing you know, you're on the trail.
Me and my son will be starting slow, so will probably meet you somewhere along the way.
Just booked for the 12th. On the trail the 13th. Getting close.
I'm booked for the 20th. Start hiking on the 21st.
You can also stay at Hiker Hostel a couple of days into your hike. They do a regular pickup at Woody Gap 21 miles north of Springer.

I did it on the other end. Once I was on the CYR bus line headed from Bangor toward Millinocket, the excitement was at its peak.
