Memory Cards for Camera/Phone

So I work at Office Depot currently, and I needed to get some Micro SD cards for my phone/camera for my thru hike coming up this summer. This week we've got an incredibly good deal going on. A 16GB Micro SD card for only $8.99! It was such a good deal I bought three of them!! haha. Just thought I'd let you guys know!!

Nice fine. Electronics like that can always be had very cheap on ebay, amazon, etc.

It's amazing how much the price decreases for them in the matter of months... I remember paying $65 for my 8GB high-speed card for my camera only 2 years ago.

Sandisk removable memory is the cheapest on Amazon's Deal of the Day roughly every 4 weeks for rock bottom prices. I haven't seen anyone near this price, ever. You can subscribe to Amazon Deal of the Day to get Emails and you'll catch it.

Great price now but I bet if you keep a record of this thread and look at it in 18 months, you'll laugh at the price. I can't keep up with changes in storage media pricing.
