    Default Inov-8 & The Clymb

They currently have the Terroc 330 in sizes 9-13 and the Roclite 295 in sizes 8-10, along with other shoes too, but those are the two I've used and seem to be popular among hikers.

They have some other things too, but I don't see how they would be of particular interest to a thru hiker.

Shipping with this company is slow.

You do have to be invited. Here's my invite link. If you sign up with it, I'll get a $10 credit with your first purchase.

I've order several items (qualified for free shipping) from the clymb didn't find the shipping slow. I've never returned any products so I can't comment on customer service.

Ordered from there twice. I thought the shipping was really slow.

How many monkey butlers will there be?

One at first. But he'll train others.

Default Deals on Inov-8, Filson and Chacos

    They're back again.

    $59.95 Roclite 295, sizes 9, 10
$59.95 Roclite 315, sizes 9-13 including half sizes

    No Terroc 330 this time.

They also have some Filson clothing, at about 50% off. Most people probably wouldn't thru hike with it, but I've seen fellow trail maintainers use and swear by it. I've looked for deals for Filson on ebay, but the bidding always goes way out of my comfort zone.

    Chacos too. About 40% off.

They shop slow unless its one of their mega sales of old stuff they couldn't get rid of. I used to love the clymb. I get tired of same old brands they like to push. I just bought some keen boots from them. 50% off list (rei) price. They great for salomen, inov8, keen, shoe products. I'd love to know why they don't vary their menu?

Their shipping isn't much of a problem for me because I've learned to only buy things I won't need for a while, or because I'm buying multiple spares. It's a good thing for me that I like Inov-8, at least the Terroc 330 and Roclite 295, one of which isn't for sale this time, and the latter isn't available in my size.

If I had the money, and actually had some Filson to become a big fan that many people seem to be, I'd probably be buying a ton of Filson.

They have a lot of the same stuff, but I think it's because they end the sale before they run out of stock, so they sell it off in multiple sales. I'm sure they have something set up with the brands you see over and over again.

It's too bad they pretty much have same models every time. Would love to get a deal on the Trailrocs.

    They added some news things.

    Inov-8 Terroc 330, $59.98, only size 10
Altra Lone Peak, $39.98, sizes 8.5-11.5
Vivobarefoot shoes too at 50% off, but the sizes are in some units I'm not familiar with

Klymit pads for about 1/3rd off. Imo, all except for the first should be used with a sleeping bag, not a quilt.
    Static V, $39.98
    X Frame, $64.98
    X Lite, $59.98
    Inertia XL, $74.98

Thank you to whoever it was that ordered something with my referral link.

Where did you find the Lone Peaks? I can't find them on the site.

Sorry trovar, that may have been a bit of a freudian slip. It's the Altra Adam. I WISH it was the Lone Peak! I keep swearing I'm going to buy those, and then this website has a crazy deal that keeps me in Inov-8's a little longer.

I don't know anything about the company but I have bought from them with good luck. I bought a $350 NEMO tent for under $200 and have got deals on NB trail runners. It seems to me they act as a clearance sales company for companies that have over stocks and need to clear warehouse space. I go for long periods of time without seeing anything I use on the sale e-mails. So I lose interest and miss out on some good deals.

The Inov-8 and Filson sales end today.

They've added an ultralight down hoody:

Sierra Gnar Hoody, $124.98, sizes S, XL, XXL, green, red, blue and black.
    800 fp goose down
    4.2 oz fill
11.5 oz...that's a killer weight for a hoody, especially for a full front zipper
