Now if only Starbucks can learn how to make a decent cup of coffee. They've got 50 years to figure it out.

This may sooner than that. If hikers are spending $5-6K now, we could be at $10K in 15 years.

This is how I envision the AT then. Still, the sunrises should be nice.

Florida passed legislation allowing advertising on state owned trail-heads and green-ways.

Then last year they passed more laws allowing electronic billboards on Water Management District lands.

    The future is here.
The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.

Nah. A robot will hike it for you and you can plug into a machine that will let you experience it via the robot.

The $4 fee for hiking the Smokies will be $400. Concessionaires will hold limited liquor licenses at all hostels allowing the sale of beer, scuppernong, and muscadine wine to all holding a valid EZPass. Starbucks coffee will be the official sponsor of WhiteBlaze.

Crazy Talk! That is not enough fee considering the by 2063 a dollar would'nt buy a stick of used gum! Hopefully by 2063 scuppernog and muscadine will still be considered sub-par rotten grape juice. If StarSucks sponsors Whiteblaze I'm going to become a donating member of Snailpace which will still have one post per day in 2063.

you're forgetting the current $4 fee doesn't really pay for anything tangible right now, so the $400 is a modest increase in keeping with the current approach!
