SW VA on the weekends, southern half of PA end of April, whites early July. Did 19E to Dennis Cove last weekend - enjoy the hike - should be warmer for you next weekend.

I would venture a guess that there's not a blue blaze on that entire trail, but I would also guess that it is a well-worn path!

Rangeley to Monson in September for me. If my daughter, Sunshine, joins me, then I'll probably shorten the distance a bit. What I'd really like to do is to take 3 solid weeks and finish atop Katahdin on a Class 1 day, 40 years after my first AT section hike!
