    :banana Mailing Fuel Canister

FYI: I picked up my Box for my first mail drop, so I was wondering if I could mail a fuel canister (MSR,Jetboil ) because I've read and was told you couldn't mail them. Well I got the best answer a hiker could want "YES" as long as its new. I also ask how many and he said as many as you like. HS

Better check on what service is allowed. I belive it has to be mailed via ground ie, parcial post.

This is BAD information. You can't just put one in your bounce box and mail your fuel canister! The omitted part of this story is that you have to tell the postal post office about it so it can be marked "SURFACE TRANSPORT ONLY". Then you can mail it.
