Default Road less traveled -- AT thru hike

Saw this episode of "Road Less Traveled" on Maine PBS last night. They gave a bunch of people video cameras as they left Springer to document thier hike, then edited the videos and put it all together as a documentry. This occured in 2009 and one of the feature hikers was Lion King.

Most likely this has been aired before, but is the first time I happend to catch it. Well done. Only two of the dozen or so hikers they gave cameras to make it all the way.

Since it's apparently a couple year old production, I wonder if it's available on the net somewhere?

Thanks for the link. Enjoyed the video. I thought it was great that they showed the stories of the hikers who did not make it, that is how you learn.

Thanks for the link. They did a good job showing the emotional and physical side.

If you go to YouTube, you can watch the documentary in parts. From each part, you can link to the next part (from the right hand side of your screen). Here is the link to the first segment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1ceO0gtlJ4

The full PBS documentary on The Donner Party is available for purchase, but I could not find a link to a current link to view (in its entirety) online for free.
