I do it all for you Big Daddy. Glad you enjoyed the nut butter comment. I'm tempted to get on Hwy 68 and head south to Murphy right now. I've been rained on 24 of the last 28 days. Enough already.

In the colder months I bring smoked turkey or roast beef, a sharp cheddar and a package of bacon bits. Throw that on a tortilla and add a packet of mayo and it feels like you're at a Mexican deli. Hummus can be an excellent sandwich spread also. I don't get that creative with PB though, just add some jelly and call it a day.

Dip a hot pepper in it.

After a couple months of PB on soft tortillas, I switched to Ritz crackers...a real nice change of pace. The crackers tend to break up a bit in your pack as the days go by, but no big deal...just as good in pieces as in those little round discs.

I have been adding Fritos or my trail mix to my PB tortillas.

    That Mr. daddytwosticks!

Hey, if I was you, I'd hit the casino in Cherokee. It will be awhile before Murphy gets our own indian casino.

Hope the weather gets better for the rest of your hike.

The only correct answer here is obviously bacon, a huge bag of dippin' bacon. You're welcome.

Get those on sale reduced price Stinger Waffles while they last. I think the current version with Lance Armstrong on the packaging are discontinued so venders are offering them at a discount(or they should!). I've been snagging mine for under $1 at several places. I bought them out of their inventory at a EMS in NJ for 50 cts a piece. Wonder if they'll continue making them with someone else on the packaging.

    1. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
    2. In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Pretzels are good dipped in peanut butter. Get the thicker kind, they won't break off in the peanut butter as easily.
