    Default W.V. -Maryland Section Hike

I am looking at section hiking west virginia and Maryland in October. Can anyone provide some journals of this section as well as must see spots, camping tips etc? There will be 2-3 of us and we would really like to get more out of this trip than just walking the trail, Going thru trail towns, historic sights along the trail etc.

    1-Hostels along here worthstaying at?
2-Best shuttle service in this area
3-Will Maryland have a freeze before mid october?
    4-good places for Mail drops?

Thanks for all your help in advance whiteblaze!

Stop at Annapolis rocks and camp there, beautiful. Also, don't go to the teahorse hostel, it's expensive, and there's the Harper's Ferry hostel for less money on a side trail off the canal towpath (where the AT goes)
