    I don't know about "tough times", but if I just want to zone out for a little while, I usually go to Robin Trower
    Bridge of sighs (I have an over 10 minuet live version) backed up with Long Misty Days. I think my Trower play list
    is about 20 tunes. I don't listen to music on the trail much, but when I do it will most likely be this.
