    Default Driving time ?

    I posted this in another section but didn't get any response! Hopefully I will get some help here!
    Does anyone know how long does it take to drive from Rock Gap to NOC and from Fontana to NOC?

    This. You can plug in your start point and destination right down to the exact point on the map you want and it will calculate the typical drive time for you. It will also give you the time with traffic, if there is any.

    For instance, Google says it's 38 minutes from where the trail meets the road across the dam to NOC. But if you meant somewhere else in there it's easy to pick a new destination/starting point.

    Thanks! I considered that and will give it a try! I'm not familiar with driving that area and I know it can take longer than it normally would on some of those mountain roads!

    It takes 2 hours to drive from Rock Gap to the N.O.C, 1.5 hours from Fontana dam to the N.O.C, but it all depends on how much Mountain driving experience you have if you have none add an hour to the driving times, From Rock Gap to the N.O.C it's 80% 4 lane, then from Fontana dam to the N.O.C it's mostly 2 lane Mountain roads, Really Curvy.
