    I must be the only person not in love with my hammock, I find it colder that a sleeping bag and Thermarest, I also like to move around a bit when I sleep but the hammock really locks you in.

    No harm in that, many prefer ground dwelling. Given the proper gear, which may be more expensive and heavier (but not necessarily) , hammock camping can be very comfortable, if not more.

    Really want to like my hammock and I have used it successfully on a trip but last night it rally hurt my back, not sure why
