Yeah, the sub kilo is a tight fit, looking for something that has a little more room in the shoulders

I was eyeing that, just not a fan of purple
I recently bought a Megalite and love it despite the "interesting" color. Owned a WM Caribou and an Alpinlite in the past and they were superfine products. Can't go wrong with Western Mountaineering products.
I might just be pulling the trigger on a WM bag, I haven't found anything that comes close to the value
MegaLite: More down. Less money. Shift the down between top and bottom for versatile temperature control. What's not to like? I won't part with my WM bag. I have started a second WM bag fund. The MegaLite is on my short list.

+1 on not a fan of purple. I too have been looking for a +30 bags. Have you looked at the Marmot Hydrogen +30? the Marmot Hydrogen seems equivalent to the WM megalite and can be found for just under $300. Besides, you don't want to look like barney out on the trail.
Sleeping bag as outerwear? Who knew?
I have yet to see the color of one of my bags when I was in them.
OK, it must be the shelter thing? Hmmmm. Fashion before form? An alien concept to me.

I have a Marmot Plasma +15. I love it. It's the Mercedes Benz of sleeping bags, pure luxury. Plenty of room and I'm a big guy.
Purple clashes with my other color choices
Megalite it is...
Made in the USA. Thanks!
Please follow up with some in use observations for those of us thinking of buying the MegaLite.
Have fun!

I also have a Megalite fund. I think I've read everything there is on the net about it. I finally got a chance to climb in one in Spring Break and it just confirmed my choice. I can't wait.
