    Just wanted to say I have finished my southbound thru-hike of the AT on Sept. 5, 2005...an amazing journey, thanks to everyone who inspired me and encouraged me!

    I thought that you were aiming for Sep 19th! Didn't think that you would be able to take that much time on the southern half. Just got back from Maine myself. I meant to summit on the 31st but Katrina linked weather kept me away until the 7th.
