Would like to get one and I am wondering what others paid for it or the price they saw? Also, is it possible it can be fitted to a sleeve to create a camp chair?

With the exception of the 1st year models that you can find on clearance from time to time... pretty much all retails seem to carry the current model for full price. The only time I've every seen a current model year on sale was things like the REI 'Take 20% off any one full retail price item"... which is how I bought mine.
First option I found with a simple Google search. I know there are many options though.

Is that really $60 just for the 9oz chair to put the Neo Air into? Holy S$#T!!
And pardon me for saying this, but why is it a post about stinky feet can accumulate pages of replies/posts and yet I can't get a simple answer beyond two posts for the cost of a Neo Air?
There are many different neo airs ranging from like $70-$130. It all depends which one suits your needs.

You will have to decide where you want to be on the R-value : weight : price continuum.
Max. R-value, Min. Weight, Max. Price = best deal is the 20% off REI coupon.
Older models, lower R-values, heavier, will be discounted from the usual online suspects. Google will find them.
You pays your money and takes your pick.
Weight, size, R-value. That is the question. I am debating regular Xtherm vs. large Xtherm.

I got a brand new in the box one for around $100 on ebay last summer to replace the one I misplaced.
More walking, less talking.
I paid full price for mine several years ago when these first came out. I think it was $129 then. It is the lime green color, rectangular, 72" length. I use mine in a Thermarest camp chair. The chair is the older style that has a complete pocket on the back rest, not the band style that is current. That style sucks. I bought everyone in the family the old style when the switch was made. My Neoair fits the chair, it's a little bouncier than my Prolite 4, but it works ok.

Amazon is cheapest
Care to qualify that?... because when I do a search for NeoAir Xlite, I find exactly what I expected, a Regular Size Xlite priced at $159.95... just like everyone else:

Bingo! Cascade Designs sets the suggested retail price. All vendors must abide by these prices. REI's occasional 20% off one full price item coupon is the only way to get a discount off current list price for current models.
Backcountry Gear, my choice for things that REI doesn't sell and/or sale items, sent me a 20% coupon about the same time that REI sent out their annual dividend coupon. The fine print had a list of excluded brands: Cascade Designs, Hilleberg Tents and Western Mountaineering (all on my wish list) were among the excluded brands. No surprise there.
Campmor has two older NeoAir models currently listed. However, the weight (high) and low R-value knocks them off of my list.

YMMV.

Perhaps for used gear or clearance merchandise. But as Wayne pointed out, Cascade Designs is one of many manufacturers that basically sets a selling price and then requires all their vendors to sell at that price. If the vendor violates manufacturer's set price, the vendor simply withhold shipping new product to the vendor.
I'm actually surprised that places like REI "gets away with" selling Cascade Designs equipment in their 20% off sales. But then again, the 20% off sale is extremely limited (twice a year, and then you only get to take 20% off of one single product, not the entire purchase).
I think they can get away with it because of the sheer volume that of Cascade Designs product that they sell...if they were a dinky little dealer, that would be a different story. REI does get restricted by vendors from time to time, but usually on brands like North Face, Oakley, etc., where other retailers top REI in sales of those brands.

I picked up a Neoair All Season from REI steeply discounted ($109).
Good for you. It can be done since the All Season is "new & improved for 2014."
It all depends on which model year you are buying. Just like cars.

Hold on. We have a sale on current NeoAir products. Not a whopping sale, but some sizes are a bit less than REI's current prices.
