Colorado rob, I use the bivy for the tarps, it keeps the bugs away while I sleep, I could save some weight with a flat tarp and I plan on it, the duomid is my winter tarp but it's all I've got right now. The TP is for my whole trip, I can never find individual rolls when I resupply. I figure about an ounce and a half per week. I could save some weight on the jacket, just wondering will lighter weight ones hold up just as well?

Malta that helps tons! I'm thinking I'll be doing neros as well in order to spend more time on the trail and spend less money in the towns, I'll have to prepare for 30 mile days then, I have slightly more time to allow for a lower average.

That's awesome you got down to 10 lbs, also awesome that you take your kid(s) out for hikers, I always loved the times going out with my dad. It's just a cool experience to share with your parents.

I don't have time to look at the whole list right now, but for TP instead of a roll you can buy those little individual packs of tissues. I'll check out your whole list later!!
