    Default Top Gear races length of AT

    saw a commercial for this last night, History Channel top gear tv show will race cars along the route of AT, not actual AT, but the roadways near it. http://www.locatetv.com/tv/top-gear-...ason-5/8849961

    I watched the episode, it was extremely bogus. At least 20 minutes of the footage was filmed in Franconia Notch in the whites. There is a shot of two interstate bridges with a rusted railroad bridge in the background that was identified as a bridge between Mass and VT that is actually in Lincoln NH. The route map they showed didn't even go near the whites. There were a few shots taken in VT possibly in the Mad River Valley. Some of Tanner's off road shots appeared to be shot in one location and then spread out through the show. In general it a standard To Gear episode with the AT name grafted onto it to get some more ratings.
