That absolutely sickens me. That some people think their wants over-ride everyone elses is just appaling. I hope she's caught and prosecuted in every state where these offenses occur. (and since some are national parks, I should think they constitute federal offenses. . . and the federal prison system isn't for sissies.)

Tagging once or twice without calling attention to herself, she probably would have simply got a finger wag, not even a slap on the wrist. Rather blatantly and openenly vandalizing state and national parks, multiple times will get her easily over any threshold to felony charges.

If she does get prosecuted in Federal Court, she might get time at Club Fed. Most have an arts & crafts building where she can apply her work there. Since it's classified as a non-violent offense, no hard time for her.

She needs to be caught and punished. No, not with jail time, but with a hefty fine and being forced to clean up her own mess. Also, make video of her schlepping all the clean-up chemicals, water, equipment, etc on her back to each and every site, and make video documents of her clean-up to be posted publicly online. She should also have to pay the salary of the park rangers who will have to supervise the clean-up.

Yeah..that annoys me too about some of these situations...but in this case maybe not...since she now seems to have taken down all the incriminating photos. Perhaps she has finally realised that "any publicity is good publicity" isn't always true !!!!
Regardless , hope they throw the book at her........ just stupid behaviour from an adult !
