The AirQua AirWater Maker is defined by unparalleled quality, producing water that is safe and clean enough to drink from both the generator and the dispenser.

Whether it is low humidity or wet atmospheric condition, the AirQua AirWater Maker is able to produce water relative to the existing condition. Relative Humidity (RH) is one of the key factors that determines the rate of water production. The higher the RH, the better it is for getting more water from the air. Ideally, the RH level should be at least 40% or above to achieve the machine's optimum performance. The AirQua AirWater Maker also depends on the temperature to operate at its’ optimum level. The ideal temperature is 20° Celsius (68F) or above.



Air is drawn into the AirQua AirWater Maker by way of a suction fan. It will pass through a double-layered anti-bacterial air filter to get rid of impurities and foreign particles before hitting the condenser. The air, now dehumidified, will then return to the atmosphere, cleaner and less damp.

Meanwhile, water is simultaneously “extracted” at the surface condenser (coils) and “harvested” at the water collection tray below before storing in the water collection reservoir tank.

The water in the water collection reservoir tank then passes through a 4-stage proprietary purification process to remove organic odours and dissolved impurities, eliminate fine waterborne contaminants including bacteria, viruses, parasites and other disease-causing agents, and to further elevate and magnify water taste.

As a final safeguard, water is disinfected with UV light in the main reservoir tank to ensure the removal of bacteria and viruses before it is pumped into the hot & cold tank, ready for dispensing.

Water from the main reservoir tank and dispensing water tanks goes through a continuous cycle of filtration and sterilisation (a patented 24 hours recirculation system) to keep the water constantly clean and pure.

The AirQua AirWater Maker net result is clean, disinfected, pure and fresh water – totally from the atmosphere.

Matthew, Why not collect and drink the water from your air conditioner drain pan? Same concept. Use a little coil cleaner first.

listen panzer. water can be distilled from the air useing electricity.you cant argue this point. the units on the market made to sit on a kitchen countertop cost about 500 bucks for a great one that produces 2.5 gal per day of disstilled water. another fact. all im sayin is they can be hooked up to alternitive power sources and run in a crisis. whats the prob?

Just the idea that you could do this with a foot pump, and make enough useful water to offset the manual effort of using the foot pump.

Sorry, I can't make the hike either. We decided to have a New Years party and we are going to spend the rest of the week getting ready.


I have heard that there are some good times on Springer on New Years. I said to the wife that next year I wanted to drive down to Springer and spend New Years there. The wife doesn't do winter hikes so she's not coming. I may send her down to the Islands with her sister just so she doesn't rag on me. She bought in on that. Anyway that's a long range plan.
We'll see what happens.

my minnesota smith exsperoment comes to a close with one final measurment. we must now gauge and chart for prosperity, the increasing waist line to non hiking ratio of increase. a sad but nessesary comparrison. rate of inflate.

im toying with the idea of hitting the trail this weekend and ending up on the pinnicle monday to greet white blazers with trail magik. i spent alot of new years alone on the trail above port clointon as a teen and havent for way too many years. its a wonderful way to reflect on the world at that time. you look out over the town lights and all the celebrating and you look at your feet and all the solice you have and its a cool dicottamy.anyone interested ? 215 668 0898. looking to do at least one night. today is the last work day of the year. happy day all!
