    Default Greylock

I know Bascom is closed and I think I've read that we can't even get water on the outside faucet at the lodge. Has anyone been up there since it closed to confirm whether or not we can get water on top of the mtn?

I have not been up, but ran into Trocar (NOBO) in Vermont last Thursday - he said no water on the top or any faucet. He said it was a pain because even the natural water sources were quite down from the summit.

    Default I'll check

I won't be able to check until next week due to prior scheduling. I do regular training jaunts from Haley Farm up the Money Brook Trail with a fully loaded pack, but almost never go to Bascom. Next time I will. With the road system closed, it's unlikely that the facility is open.

The facilities are closed and there is no reliable water on the summit

Does anyone know if the entire road is closed? What about the visitors center at the base?
I would much rather be anywhere on a trail right now
than just sitting in front of some computer reading about it.
