Default Leaving for the 100 mile Wilderness

I am about to leave for my first long distance backpacking trip through the 100 mile wilderness, I will post a trip report when I get back. I am staying with the great people at Shaw's tonight and starting the journey tomorrow morning.

    To the wilderness and beyond,
    Kirby

It might be too late for you to see this, but make sure you stay at Antler's Campsite, in my opinion, the prettiest campsite on the whole A.T. Have a great trip!!

LW, everyone knows the grizzlies don't come around b/c they're afraid of the mountain lions , and the water moccasins are only an issue at the stream crossing . Kirby, have a great time and let us know how you made out when you get back.
