    I got the Olympus 790 too....charging the batteries as we now. Cant wait to takes some pics on the trail with it.

    Heck yes - I got exactly what I needed....

    I made a gift registry at REI and told my husband jsut go to REI.com and your shopping will be easy this year !

    It worked out great for both of us.

    Congrats on getting a piece of backpacking history (the SVEA) Marta. Mine is mostly retired but I just got an MSR Windpro stove. It is a tad heavy but I think it'll be worth it cooking for two.

    Nothing for Christmas. Don't need anything! Have too much! Have taken to donating, selling, and trading stuff that isn't just right.

    Didn't get any gear as a gift from anyone I know, but........ One of my customers the other night asked for my works address...and when I looked at him funny, he said that he is a Miox rep, and was going to send one!!! Keeping fingers crossed.....either way, it really made me walk out of a rough dinner shift with an ear to ear grin!
