    The AT is a veryy long trail, are there any good section maps that would be good to take along?

    Since you plan on hiking the whole trail this year, below please find a link to where you can buy the maps for the entire AT by section from the ATC. If you become a member, it will be cheaper.

    Yep, it sure is a long trail! But it's great too. Fun at times. Hard at other times. But the best experience of your life. Go for it!

    The maps you get through the Appalachian Trail Conservancy are the best. Many times hikers will also sell their used maps. Check in the Sell area or on E bay.

    For the south get the ATC maps, and the Smokies National Geographic...
