So I am stranded in Franklin and I'm not sure that there is a better place to be. I'm just here waiting on my mail drop (thanks priority mail). In my opinion there should be a guy like Ron Haven and a place like his in every trail town! If you hike the AT and don't stay here you should be pelted with small pebbles.

I'll second that! His stories are fantastic and his hospitality is like no other.

The guy is hilarious, I believe he might be the best story teller since Andy Griffith. I know he enjoys just riding along and chewing the fat.
