    Old Job sits on the original AT/LT route from Griffith Lake to Big Branch. A nice shelter next to a good stream with suspension bridge. Just past the bridge is a massive saw dust pile, a remnant of the long gone timber job here. Lots of old apple orchards here as well. Worth the side trip for those that have the time.

    It's a great way to hook up with the AT from the FR10 trailhead....... sadly the road leading to it is now closed. (or it was at least in august). The Old Job Trail is beautiful.
