Default Looking for 2010 NoBo Partner(s)

My friend and I are planning a NoBo hike beginning in early to mid March 2010. We will be 18 and 19 at the time of departure and, although we have some hiking experience, we would like a partner/partners for at least the first part of the journey. We live in Boston and would like someone in the New England area to do a few hikes with to determine if we would be a good match.
Interested? Post here or email me at kroe@winsor.edu.
    Thanks!

Hi! While I may be a bit older than you and your partner (I am graduating from college in about a month), I too am looking to meet people to hike with in March 2010. I am assuming that you are graduating from the Winsor school in Boston, yes? I grew up really close by and have some friends that went there! I now live with my parents in Maine, but we could meet up some time if you are interested.

Even though I'm 38, people tell me I still act like I'm 18! I'm heading out mid-March 2010. Hope to see you out there!

Just graduated from College this month as well-and am also from the Boston area. I would be willing to start out with people-and if there are some shakedown hikes in the near future, I'd be up for it. (I'm working at a camp near the AT in Vermont starting in June). PM me if you want to do some shakedown hikes.

Hey guys, i may be a little "old" for this thread, but I'm a lifelong Ne'er; grew up in RI and now live in CT. I'm planning a section hike this summer from Eastern NY to Mt. Greylock in MA, so maybe I'll see some of you out there at some point. If that goes well and I still have the balls, I might consider a thru hike as well.

Lillian- what camp if you dont mind me asking? I also worked at a camp in VT a couple summers ago that was relatively close to the A.T.

I believe that, regardless of age or gender, each of us shares the bond of enthusiasm about hiking the trail. All of us would do well to meet up at the ALDHA Gathering October 9-12. There are meetings just for us, meetings filled with excellent, timely information. There are evening programs that will blow our minds, presentations we will never forget. Guaranteed.--Kinnickinic
