    Default Cooking books

    Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a book on outdoor/hiking cooking?

I am not looking for cute recipes like Back Country Soufle..
Nutritional information such as calories per weight would be great.

    Thanks,

Try looking at the Freezer Bag Cooking website and then ordering her book. The author is a member here (Sarbar) and is extremely helpful when it comes to all things freezer bag cooking related. Great gal and an excellent resource.

I did a review of Lipsmackin Vegetarian Backpackin for backpackgeartest a few years ago. The review (here and here) is somewhat mixed, but I have been using several recipes from that book since then. You might check it out.
