Default Refletix -Enough to make a cozy

I need a sheet of Reflectix and don't want to buy a $20 roll so if you have some left over I'll buy it.

I made one a couple of years ago from a reflective windshield cover from the dollar store. It works fine, and has lasted for a couple of years. Heres a link to the one I made...

Yup, I did the same thing about four years ago and am still using it. Although it could probably use replacing. Go to your local dollar store and see if they have it.

Thanks everyone. I found some Reflectix. I have a foil sun shade and was consider hacking it up before posting but decided it would be better to use actual Reflectix.

    Lightbulb Good cozy material...

I overloaded and ripped off the handle of one of those reusable grocery bags that had the inner foam and foil insulation for carrying cold/frozen items. I took the remains and made cozies for freezer bags and my metal camp cup.

Since the bag is covered with a cloth-like material, the cozy can be sewed together, instead of taping and/or gluing, saving a lot of weight. The cloth cover also makes for a non-slip grip, and helps prevent burns. The bag cost me $1.99, and provided a lot of material for cozies.

I saw a windshield sunscreen in Wal-Mart for $6. It looks exactly like the material in my AGG pot cozy.

Aha! Now, I have to make a special trip!

I found some laundry storage bags for $1 at $ Tree. You can take a magic marker and write Western Mountaineering on the side of them.
