Go, have fun. No problems. Like 4eyedbuzzard said, you will seldom be alone.
You have good winter gear? You might be alone a bit. Use Caution in NH.

Just Do It!
Enough is OK, too much is just right.
I like hiking alone.
last week, i took some friends out to see my trail i've been working on.
The 11 year old freaked out because he thought there were spiders crawling on him. (there weren't)
I was glad when we were finished but headed back out there (alone) two days later as soon as i had time again.
I probably hike alone 70% of the time. It's nice to have people to talk to sometimes but they sure change the way i hike: slower, faster, stop more, stop less, longer breaks, shorter breaks, choosing a campsite, just camping on the trail when i'm tired, sharing food, getting to eat it all, getting up early, sleeping in a little later, it changes a lot of things.
Have fun.
Don't let your fears stand in the way of your dreams
