Gotta go with Safari on this one. I have heard from many hikers about problems here, and it's gone on for awhile, i.e. something should have been done a long time ago. I also know of hikers who have avoided the place because of what they'd heard. It would be in the owner's best interest (and the hikers', too!) if something was done to insure that these conditions don't exist next year.
Lone Wolf's suggestion also appears to have merit.
