Based on the maps it looks like there is plenty of water between Snickers Gap and Ashby Gap, but I'm having a hard time finding information about water sources south from Ashby Gap to the 4H center outside of Shenandoah.

Anybody know whats flowing and what is or isn't safe to use with filtration in the stretch?

Thanks for any help, I'm trying to prep for taking a small group on a 3 day weekend. Starting to get some more people hooked on minimal impact backpacking.
