You may be overwhelmed with trail buddies that time of year in N. Georgia !!!!

Once you get moving up the Trail, you'll find lots of people you'll want to hike with. If your experience is like most, they will form a kind of trail family that you'll be a part of. But the nice thing is you won't "officially" be tied to any of them and can go off on your own or alter your plans without a lot of drama. Freedom!

Yeah no problem finding hikers on day one there. We found 2 on March 5th and plenty more later on.
