This one is the same weight as the GSI toaster, but holds more toast. We used these to toast MRE bread when I was in the Marine Corps. Decent piece of gear. You can get it for half the listed price at Walmart.

Once the toaster cools, you simply pull loose the wires and it packs down flat.
If people spent less time being offended and more time actually living, we'd all be a whole lot happier!

This made me completely remember this one as well. I have this and it works very well and is perfect for backpacking since any random stick will suffice and is only .6oz.I have three brass toaster forks from more than a hundred years ago, the fourth was made by a great grandfather from wire to sit by the fire early in the morning for tea & toast. Suprise Coglan's copied it....

Yep... not only is it now winter, but as you know from being in the DC-area, it's been brutally cold and crazy windy the past 2 weeks. It is supposed to end next week and be in the 40s next weekend so I'm hoping to make it out for an overnighter then.
