Default PMags is not an ammo dealer! :D

I've told people that when you google PMAGS, my site comes up amidst all the ads for Polymer Mags. I don't know firearms too well..but they are related apparently. I never realized it was a type of ammo magazine until a few years ago when I registered the domain.

Anyway, this irate gentleman wrote this in my guestbook on Jan 25th:

Comment: What the hell is this I Google "PMAG" and get this site. If you are going to use a trade mark name you better at least sell Magpuls product. Freaking tree huggers, the demise of our civilizations.

I am guessing PAUL "MAGS" MAGNANTI aka PMags is a bit too obtuse .

I'm left this entry because it is too funny!! I The nickname (Mags) goes back to at least my grandfather and I've had a variation of pmags@XXXX.com for about 15 yrs now. As for the tree hugger bit... Heh. "How to snowshoe" and "Where to pick up Ramen on the Colorado Trail" must be some liberal political agenda.

Boy, I can sypathize. You type in baltimorejack.com and you get someone's cheesy holiday photos, which is kind of an improvement I guess, as a few years ago you'd get a Pro Wrestling site.

Shoulda bought the domain years ago......

Maybe you could sell gun stuff on the side.

OTOH, no one types "Baltimore Jack" in google, pops on that site and bitches when they don't see you in your, ah, thru-hiker glory.

EDIT: http://www.flickr.com/photos/baltimorejack/ is where baltimorejack.com goes to! "You'll have the time of your life when you see the place where they filmed Dirty Dancing. OMG!!!!!!

Throw some google ads on your site to take advantage of the idiots. That'd be too funny if the ads pointed to gun ammo sites!

Other friends have suggested it...perhaps it is time?

Google "pmags" and my site is usually in the top 5. Hmm...I could use some new touring gear....

I just want to say that even though my first name is John and I'm from Kentucky, I wasn't the one who left scurrilous comment on your website. I'm a leftie radical commie who seeks to disarm freedom-loving people everywhere and thus have no need for ammo. Anyway, I always thought you were connected to La Cosa Nostra and, not wanting to find your Uncle Bruno on my doorstep, I've withheld other cutting comments about your poor choice of hiking gear and general failure to maintain a proper image on the trail as prescribed by LL Bean.

    LOL just too funny...

Magpul just happens to be a CO based company as well. For those that enjoy firearms, they make some great products. Yeah I own a few of their PMAGS which just happen to be polymer magazines for AR15's

EDIT: They are also in Boulder, CO...the plot thickens!!! Also..they make much cooler calendars and photos than mine:
    http://store.magpul.com/prod_detail_list/67

(For a liberal, pseudeo-hippy town, Boulder has some interesting companies:
Soldier of Fortune Magazine, this pmags company, and the largest ah, alternative adult entertainment distributorship, (link is very safe for work..actually its very corporate looking!) in the country and this publishing house that features "The Ultimate Sniper Set")

That's sweet. I'll have sue THEM for trademark infringement.

You would not believe the quanity of "hate mail" Utube.com they make tube & rollform equipment hence the name Universal Tube & Rollform Equipment Corporation got when youtube.com came out. utube doesn't have any cool videos. They also got an unbelievable spike in webtraffic.

I actually use Magpul's Pmags, and they are very good, probably better than GI issue. Maybe you should start selling Magpul products, they are very popular right now, and considered top of the line by AR15 enthusiasts.

There is no probably about Magpul's Pmags being better than GI issue. Have you seen the video on youtube where some troops ran over a GI issue mag which bent the 1st time, which made it useless. They then, ran over a Pmag several times before it started to fail. The vehicle of course was a hummer.

I too, own several Magpul Pmags, an excellent product! Good to see that I am not the only one here who enjoys backpacking/hiking and the black rifle.

The second amendment is about guns?

When I was in high school the dress code was changed to prohibit tank tops. Many students protested. Me and several friends claimed this rule change violated our second amendment right, "which guaranteed our right to bare arms." Our posters got a bunch of laughs, but did not succeed in affecting policy.
