Ummmm.....Looks good, made we hungry, But I was thinking, How is this a backpacking Food?? Looks heavy, bulky, not sure if I would want to take it one the trail with me..

HOW EVER!!! In a town stop or a hostel, where kitchen facilities are provided, this would be a great food to start on...But I'm sure you will pay for it at the end of the day...

This burger is something I'd consider using pack animals for.

I like the Lime tostitos as a chef's snack in the Step 9 photo...

I've tried filling my backpacking food with caloried but haven't had much luck.
What sort of needle should I use when injecting more fat into my bacon?

Love people and use things; never the reverse.

Mt. Katahdin would be a lot quicker to climb if its darn access trail didn't start all the way down in Georgia.

    A larding needle.

    Serious.

    Ask Wikipedia:

Only thing I see wrong is that dreamcatcher thing. Whoever gets the part with no dream catching strings gets short changed. Oh, wait a minute: This is for one serving, right? So the solution is to make one for everyone. I get it, my bad.

Looks good. Just hope he had the common decency to butter that bread real thick before slapping that bacon/sausage loaf onto it.
