VA NOBO starting mid may

Hey guys, I'm headed to Damascus for Trail Days and was hoping to start heading north from there. No end date in mind, I'm going to go as far as my body will let me. Anyone interested in partnering up for a few days/weeks? I'm from NY but have done hiking in alaska, arizona, and colorado.

Hey. am thinking of same thing.... going solo from damascus with small dog... sane and would like the company too.... will have to go fairly slow at first to see if things are okay with me and dog and all......

Will be driving subaru to there and wondering if you or anyone you knew that could advise as where to leave, etc..... be heading from arkansas. lived in colorado for years and know my hiking somewhat....

I live in Spain and am coming to New York next week, just when Trail Days is ending. I want to resume my hike in Damascus, where I left it 9 years ago. Stupid of me not to factor Trail Days into my plans.
In case you get delayed let me know. Meantime, any advice on how I can get to Damascus from New York. Seems awfully complicated.
