Starting at 9am on Saturday June 5th, coinciding with the AT museum opening the Central Pennsylvania Conservancy will be holding a volunteer day at the Ironmaster's Mansion in Pine Grove Furnace State Park. The activities will consist of painting, painting prep-work, and landscaping. When the building is finished, it will reopen as a hostel and in addition become an Outdoor Educational Facility. It has had many AT thru hikers sleep under its roof and hopes for many more to come! In addition to this Saturday, the Central Pa Conservancy will be hosting additional volunteer days on June 19th, 26th and July 24th. Volunteer an hour or the entire day all help is welcome and also a FREE LUNCH IS INCLUDED!!!!!
