Default PCT Map Books Now Available!

The latest edition of the Postholer PCT Map Books are now available!

The 5 volume black & white set is $64.62 which is perfect for most hikers.

If you want something more, the 5 volume full color version is $218.70. It's truly stunning!

We're talking 662 7.5" x 7.5" maps and 29 section overview maps! Each volume also has the relevant data book appendix.

100% of the profits go to the Pacific Crest Trail Association.

You may also be interested in the free data book, which has most of the Wilderness Press data book locations, but much more data. You can view the web version or download the PDF version.

Hmm, with the W.P. books going the way of the dinosauer, is that going to make your free online version of the data book the new sort of "canonical" (official) PCT mileage? I guess it's just you (Postholer) and Erik the Black who are now establishing specific trail mileages now??

Well, I don't know about "canonical", I'm just concerned with "useful"!

The data book can be used with either the postholer maps or Halfmile's maps, as Halfmile doesn't have any named way points or accumulated mileages on his maps (postholer maps have both).

As far as Erik, best that I can tell, he only has vaporware at this point. He has nothing available but a wall map. A week or so ago his web site said his 3rd addition would be 2012. The 2012 has been changed to "coming soon", so who knows. He's got some serious work ahead to correct his maps, elevations and data, though.
