I'm looking for a hammock with a bug net and tarp if possible. I am new at hammock camping but want to use this method when I do a section hike this summer.

If you are looking for a bargin, I would go for a Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro (this is what I use). The cheapest place to purchase this is (by far!) manventureoutpost.com. They do not publish their price because the sell it so far below the manufacturers price.
Upgrade the suspension, and get a cheap tarp. May I recommend a Kelty Noah 9. It weighs just over a pound and is absolutely bulletproof. Look around to find it on sale.
For this you can get into a hammock/tarp (with bugnet) for about 3 lbs and somewhere around $100. Upgrading the suspension is important (and included in the estimate).
Good luck. Once I slept in my SBPro, I never want to sleep on the ground again!

Veni, Vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Good suggestion above. Another is the Claytor Moskito hammock, the double bottom makes using a pad a breeze. Get a tarp, insert a ccf into the sleeve, use your sleeping bag and you are good to go.
#2 on the noah nine. I love mine but kind of hate to admit it here because it weighs like 150lbs and that is a sin here. I've had it forever and it is indeed bombproof. Which i need because im kind of bombish on gear.

There are lighter tarps than the Noah 9. I am using a Noah 12 and am having a lighter one custom made.
It seemed to me that asumda was looking for a quick fix, and the Skeeter Beeter Pro and Noah 9 were a fast and relatively inexpensive answer to their question.
I have spent a significant amount on my hammocking, especially to be cold weather compatible and lightweight. For me, the payoff is comfort.

I have a Hennessy Expedition A-sym that I bought for my son, I don't think he ever used it. I paid $150, you can have it for $100 incl. shipping.
I am selling:
-GT UL Hammock
-2 x JRB Tri Glides
-2 x tree webbing straps
-50ft Nite Ize Hi-Viz cordage
-JRB 8x8 Tarp
-4 homemade silicone line tensioners.
I am looking for $135 shipped for this entire hammock+tarp+suspension set-up.
PM me if you are interested.
I do ask that the buyer pays the Paypal fees.
