    Default parking at AFSP

    Doing my Shakedown hike march 4-12 starting at springer hoping to get to neels gap and back. Is there an issue leaving my car at the park for the week?

    Nope. Did a very similar hike and there was no problem leaving it there. You have to get a little permit/pass to put on your dash that says when you'll be back which is interesting. Some people had parked there for a thru-hike last year. Their pass said Sept. '10. This was in April.
