Default getting stove fuel in gainesville?

    Howdy,

Is there an outdoor shop or any place that sells white gas in Gainesville? (or rather, what is it called...I'm guessing there's gotta be one)

    Thanks-

    Bandit

PS. If you'd want to share a ride from Gainesville to Amicalola on the morning of 3/31, well dang, so would I (and my pardner).
Out of my way...I'm a THRU hiker. :D

Do most trail towns carry fuel for jet boils? Leigh said that it was available at or near the hiker hostel.I am going to be there(the hiker hostel)next Wednesday(the23rd) and I am starting my hike Thursday the 24th.

You might be able to find some Coleman fuel at a WalMart. Otherwise, check out the Hiker Hostel or Mountain Crossings at Neels Gap.

If the trail town has an outfitter, you will probably be able to get canister fuels. Otherwise, you will probably need to get to an actual outfitter.

    See you on the trail,
