Matty's a caring, sensitive, gentle man. I'm not sure he's a gentleman, but he's a great guy, as far as I can tell from the little I got to know him at the Winter Warmer.

Hey, Mary. Sorry I didn't get to spend time and get to know you when I was at the Doyle for the Warmer. You had a crowd around you Sat. night and Sunday I had to get up before the chickens and get Digger back to work in New England.

Billville's loss, our gain. My keyboard's keys are sticky so forgive me if I typo but our job is to wake Matty up in the middle of the night if there is any sign of danger and alert him. Personally, I can't wait to hike with him.

I love this thread and I miss Matthewski in my home. A LOT! Matthewski blesses me with his presence every year before a major Billville event happens. His mission - to do some jobs for me in my apartment. He is awesome. He doesn't always complete some chores but we have so much fun and I am so glad for every minute of his help. This year I made supper for the two of us. My way of thanking him.
My other favorite time with Matthewski is during the Billville Hiker Feed in Duncannon the weekend after July 4 when he visits my kitchen or the kitchen at the park and in his very unique way recites a creative story telling. The story telling is always about anyone in the kitchen at that moment. It is off the cuff and it is awesome.
I am also learning and want to learn more from him about leave no trace. He is an expert.
