Mountaineer falls SH Bear?

I was watching a video of a recent section hike by Stormcrow from Hammock Forums http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=8760
& I saw that the carved bear seemed to be missing.
Anyone know what happened to it?
Sadly, my guess is in to the fire pit. Or stolen, even though it weighed quite a bit.
OR, is it just not in any of the frames & I'm worried about nothing. But, when I was there in 08 it was sitting on the shelf around the front of the shelter, so should be visible in at least one of the pictures.

So, anyone have any hints?

That was a neat addition to the shelter, & a mystery as "No one knows who carved it" according to Bob Peoples.

Just a few minutes ago I found a pic on Trail Journals of it INSIDE the shelter (looks like on the ground floor sleeping platform) from a hiker thru there in April. So I was unduly concerned. & while I hate the dancing banana, I got to use it now:
