Any poop-ologists out there?

I often do dayhikes in & near the AT and the Catoctin in Maryland, and I have never seen any sign of bears in that area, but I have lately seen some droppings that look like bear poop, only smaller, like maybe a quarter cup of poo. They look like bear poop because they are loose in texture and contain berries. So what could it be? Possum? Raccoon?

Well it is certainly not brown bear or grizzly poo, that has small little bear bells in it and smells like bear/pepper spray, with occassional peices of hiker clothing embedded ;-)

sounds like racoon, but could be a few small mammals.We have a family of racoons behind our business, and we've got quite a few piles of berry flavored poo.
