Does anyone know how the springs are from Springer to Neels Gap?

EastTN, I can't speak for that particular section of the AT, but I just completed Tray Gap to Deep Gap in NC and the water is available throughout that section. I wouldn't expect the southern section to be much different. I am sure others will chime in any second.

You can call (or e-mail) the Hiker Hostel in Dahlonega, GA and they could tell you. They shuttle hikers all through the area and would hear reports whenever they pick someone up.

Seasonals are drying up. I am always leery of second hand info so what I can tell you first hand from this week is water is available at these locations:
    Stover
    Three Forks
    Hawk Mtn
    Justus Creek
    Blackwell Creek
    Gooch Shelter
Old Gooch Gap Shelter Spring - very slow but obtainable, look at north --side of foot log, not main stream
    Gooch Gap
    Grassy Gap

Woody Gap is near dry but you could get some with a lot of patience.

I have not been north of Woody this week.

Hawk Mountain really needs a sign for their water trail. I was just there and if I did not know where I was going I would have gotten easily confused. Quite a few people did in the shelter register.
